Anybody did an online degree?

if so let me know from which university and what you thought of the program itself, how it compared to sitting in the actual classroom setting and how much did it cost?

university of phoenix. probably has the best online curriculum.

as far as price, it depends.

I dunno but it just seems like a scam to me, like it's not legit. I do know I wish they stop sending me shit in the mail asking me to sign up.

whatever you do, make sure to check around to make sure that it's accredited and recognized. No point in wasting money and time if the degree isn't worth anything

accreditation is the main thing... like the one who likes to fuck suggested... i heard a few good things about Phoenix but check the employment rate after graduation and while you at it see how employers perceive degrees earned on line... some may not even give you second look for an interview...

I always felt like if I ever got an online degree and went to an interview..dude interviewing me would laugh at my ass and kick me out... :(

People were getting in trouble for handing out fake degrees and ish. Don't trust that ish.

A lot of major universities are now offering online programs. For instance, Purdue even has a few degrees that you can earn online I do believe. The main benefit of this is that you're not paying the ton of extra money that privately owned companies charge when you take a online program at their school (Devry and ITT for instance). Plus, you are eligible for grants and financial aid. You may just want to check out certain colleges to see if they are offerring a program.
