here is my situation,i have a program that constantly shuts down,for reasons unknown,i already tried disc defrag,with no luck,i cant uninstall program,because it is apart of windows xp sp2,so i thought about uninstalling sp2 however,
it is hidden somewhere on my computer(not in add/remove programs)
also i tried to use start>run to manually find the program with no luck
anybody have this same problem,or got any ideas would be greatly appreciated

What program is it? What error are you getting? Try using this

^^^thanks i got it already,but that didn't help either
the program is windows movie maker2.0,it cannot be uninstalled without
removing sp2.....i most def have sp2,but the problems started when i
accidentally installed wmm2.0 over 2.1.....
2.0. is buggy when divix video
is imported into the program,it's the last video i imported thus,when wmm is started it pulls up the last imported video,and automatically crashes!!! windows up date will not update my 2.0v of wmm (tryied....many times)
so if no one has any suggestions my only other option will be to request
a wmm2.1 CD from microsoft (which will take weeks) but will totally solve my problem with wmm.....but i heard sp2 causes many problems for some,and i want it gone all together
