IM TRYING TO CHANGE AVI FILE TO A DVD. BUT WHEN I DO IT THE SIZE OF THE MPEG.. IS TO BIG TO FIX THE DVD CD..

IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHANGE THE AVI FILE TO FIX THE DVD FORMAT???

A regular dvd burn can be up to 1 hr 45mins. If you are trying to burn anything larger than that you have to use software/hardware that can do double sided burns.

I use ReelDVD to burn my dvds.

the problem is when i format the avi to dvd or mpeg as u call it.. the file gets to big. now can i change the size of the file to fix the dvd..


i downloaded bad boys 2 it's at 700mb when i changed the format it changed to 500gb, u know that a dvd holds 4.7mb i don't really want to make 2 cd. how can i change it to fix the dvd format..

and where can i get ReelDVD

Im not sure how you are converting it to dvd format but those numbers are really wrong.

This is my method:

I use: Adobe Premiere with dvd encoding to make change the .avi files to .m2v (video) and .wav (sound) files. Then I take the files and import them into ReelDvd to create the storyboard for the menus and chapters.

I bought ReelDvd, but Im sure you could find it somewhere in the newsgroups or IRC.
