Ok, a friend of mine calls me up and told me this cat he runs with, is lookin to get into the adult website industry..I was like cool...I called dude, left a message and he hit me back..
He has great ideas and the money to make it happen. Now Ive already got a host in mind..But Im open to suggestions.. My biggest concern would be the E-commerce side of things...He want to sell DVDS, and have people D/l clips from the site.....
1. I need a good site membership setup. Where customers can signup for a monthly membership using a credit card.
2. I need a reputable and reliable webhost with good management tools . Again i have one in mind, but Im still open to suggestions..
any help would be appreciated..And since i will be the one working with all the media...Imma hiy up PB first and foremost :D
here is a site i built to market my beats:

first you need to know exactly what you are going to do
it's esier to pay someone to build the site, alot of security is involved
what is the link for the hosting company
there is alot of software to put together based on what you are going to do, there are several payment gateway that can incoperate with your site

Ive answerd all my questions with a lil bit of good old fashioned research
I found several affordable hosts
and Paypal offeres a FREE "WA PayPal eCommerce Toolkit"
for Macromedia DreamWeaver...so the transcations and subscriptions are easy as hell...

post a layout of your idea so we can do some beta review for your on what work and what we can help you with some tip's
what are you planning on doing for content produce your own or purchase, 2 DO NOT USED PAYPAL unless it's for a free site, do a review of the first 20 adult website you will never see any using paypal because there is alot of security flaw and other security problem that i cannot mention, you will be better of with ibill, ccbill, and so on, do u know how to setup .htaccess this is a must for security do you plan to have video the best way to go is drm but if your site is not popular it will hold back new member
http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=htaccess+...1&cop=&ei=UTF-8 (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=htaccess+adult+site&sm=Yahoo%21+Search&fr=FP-tab-web-t&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8)

My client will be providing all ORIGINAL content
htaccess, not too familair with it...
DRM is somthing I was thinking about, But the client wants to keep cost down intially..
I'll be sure to post a link once we actually get a domain and they pick a template and layout....IT will probably be very simple...Most people arent gonna go to the site for a cool flash intro.

Second thought, I think Im gonna push the DRM method..its rather stress free..and we want people to Buy the DVDs as well as watch online..

DRM allows for setting up mutiple plays for specific periods of time.
for a price, a customer could be allowed to play a movie 10 times within a 72hr period...I like that....
